Hiking & Letterboxing

Hiking and letter boxing will start back up tomorrow. 1pm at the Polichetti's. Bring your hiking book and letter stamp book. We will complete the hiking book for the grange and start a poster for the letterboxing for the grange. We will also look up letterboxes in the area and decide where to go on our next hike.

Hiking and Letter boxing will meet monthly until the weather gives out on us, most likely November will be our last hike. (Unless we have brave souls that want to keep going) We will travel to local parks and search for these treasures in the forest. Other plans include having a guest leader plan a day to fill other 4-h projects relating to insects and birds in the wild. We will also make a trail mix at one of the meetings. Everyone is welcome to join and always welcome to bring a guest! Our walks also provide beautiful scenery for photographers.

There is no cost for the project, just wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water to keep hydrated.

Please email Mrs. P. if you are interested and haven't yet signed up.

Member's Only Website

I am creating another website to manage members and project sign up events. This is being done through Big Tent. I ask ALL members to sign up for an account or contact me to send you an invitation to join so you can keep track of your membership and projects that are coming up. I am hoping this will help keep everyone in the loop as to what projects are being offered and leaders to know who is interested in participating in the projects. The link to the buzz page
http://www.bigtent.com/group/buzz . You may need to sign up for an account to view the Hilltown Buzz page. If you have any problems at all, please email me at iamcpa@accountingmgt.com for assistance.

Sam, Emma, Jack, Mr. and Mrs. Machesic, Joe, Nick P., Mr. and Mrs. Polichetti, Rachel, Kelly Tony, Nick G., Laura and her father all went to the Shelly's Farm on the 18th to help clean up. The Shelly's farm got hit pretty hard with all the winter storms we had. They needed all the help they could get. There was going to be another help out today but due to the rainy weather it was postponed to a later date. That date will be posted on here once it is verified.

Thanks to all the help we got! It was a lot of fun and the Shelly's really appriciated all the help.
